The Joseph V Scaletti Papers

Archivist Abbie Weiser at the UNM Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center has just finished traversing the 60 linear feet of documents in the Joseph V. Scaletti papers to produce a digital repository for future scholars.

The Joseph V. Scaletti papers, HHC 323, cover a period from 1950-2010 and include correspondence, publications, research and teaching materials, photographs and other media, administrative files, and other items documenting Dr. Scaletti’s education, career, and professional activities — focusing on the years devoted to the founding and growth of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and to the expansion of research activities at the University of New Mexico main campus.


These papers are open to researchers and serve as a resource for historians and scholars studying topics such as
